People still care
Wednesday June 25 2008

On Feb. 22, when crossing on the light at Sandalwood Parkway and Kennedy Road, I was struck and knocked down by a truck.
While I was lying on the road, a young lady named Lisa came and knelt in the snow, water and gravel.
She kept patting my hand and telling me I was going to be okay (I call her my angel).
Within minutes, the fire department came and called my son.
Then the ambulance came; the attendants, Jacob and Tony, were very professional and caring.
A special thanks to them as well as the police service and a witness to the accident who took time to stay and talk to the police.
I’m very grateful to Dr. Paitich, the nurses and staff on the sixth floor of Brampton Civic Hospital, as well as my husband, family, church family (New Life Community Church), friends and neighbours, who all helped me through this difficult time.
Truly there are a lot of caring people in this world.
God bless you all.
